We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer in a permanent role for our client who are an established but rapidly growing OEM technology business delivering innovative power and electrical solutions across the industrial, infrastructure, renewables, and critical power sectors.
The organisation is currently supporting customers across data centres, transport, utilities, telecommunications, mining, and renewable energy projects nationwide and is seeking a commercially driven engineer to support continued growth across the NSW market.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or applications support within electrical, industrial, or power systems environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or applications support within electrical, industrial, or power systems environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities across NSW and key national accounts.
- Manage and expand relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial clients, and channel partners.
- Provide technical consultation and solution-based sales support across a range of power and electrical products.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions aligned with customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
- Support customers throughout project lifecycle stages including specification, commissioning, and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting, sales forecasting, and pipeline management activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical cable sales or the electrical wholesaling sector.
- Proven experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or solution selling within engineering or industrial environments.
- Previous exposure to power systems, industrial electronics, electrical infrastructure, or OEM technology solutions highly regarded.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and provide consultative customer solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, quotations, and customer accounts.
- High level communication and presentation skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
