Engagement Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an Engagement Manager to join a fast-growing strategy and advisory consultancy in Melbourne, supporting complex engagements across energy, infrastructure, decarbonisation and resources.

This is a senior delivery role requiring someone who can lead client engagements end-to-end, manage senior stakeholders and drive high quality strategic and commercial outcomes across a diverse client base including investors, developers, utilities and government.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategy, investment and advisory engagements across energy, infrastructure and decarbonisation
• Structure complex problems and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior client stakeholders
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and act as the primary point of contact on engagements
• Oversee workstreams spanning corporate strategy, transaction due diligence, regulatory advisory and operational improvement
• Drive quantitative and qualitative analysis to support investment decisions and strategic planning
• Coach and develop junior team members while maintaining high delivery standards
• Support proposal development and contribute to broader business development activities

Required Experience:

• Background in strategy consulting, energy advisory, infrastructure advisory or capital advisory
• Proven experience leading client engagements and managing senior stakeholders independently
• Strong commercial and analytical capability with experience across energy, infrastructure or resources
• Exposure to investment decisions, transaction due diligence or regulatory advisory work
• Experience working across government, investor and corporate client environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
• High performance consulting background with rigorous problem solving standards
• Background at a top-tier strategy consulting firm highly regarded

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce or a similar analytical discipline
