We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Bid Manager to join a leading energy organisation based in Sydney. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end bid process across major Transmission & Distribution and Renewable Energy projects.
You will play a pivotal role in securing new business by coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholder inputs, and developing winning strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and has a proven track record in delivering successful bids within complex EPC environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, expressions of interest (EOIs), and proposals across major projects
- Develop and implement bid strategies to maximise win probability and align with organisational objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, commercial, legal, procurement, and project delivery
- Manage bid timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
- Oversee the development of technical, commercial, and pricing submissions
- Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and post-bid debriefs
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, governance frameworks, and internal approval processes
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with bids, including contractual, financial, and delivery risks
- Maintain and continuously improve bid management processes, tools, and templates
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients
- Proven experience in a Bid Manager or Senior Proposals role within an EPC or construction environment
- Demonstrated success in managing and winning large-scale, complex tenders for major energy projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience reviewing contracts, pricing strategies, and risk allocation
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline
