Principal – Corporate Strategy

Overview:
We are seeking a Principal to join an exclusively ex-MBB boutique in Sydney, delivering strategy and transformation engagements across energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

This role requires a senior consultant with MBB or equivalent pedigree who can lead complex engagements end to end, manage C suite relationships and contribute to growing the firm's Sydney presence

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy engagements end to end across corporate strategy, growth strategy and transformation
• Act as the primary client lead on engagements, managing senior and C suite stakeholder relationships
• Build strategic business cases, growth strategies and market entry recommendations for executive audiences
• Structure complex problems, develop hypotheses and drive analysis to inform high impact strategic decisions
• Translate complex insights into clear, structured recommendations for board and executive stakeholders
• Lead and mentor consulting teams, maintaining high delivery and quality standards
• Contribute to business development through proposals, client relationships and identifying new opportunities

Required Experience:

• Background strictly from an MBB firm or equivalent top-tier strategy consulting environment
• Proven track record leading engagements end to end at Principal or equivalent level
• Strong experience managing C suite stakeholders and leading high performing teams
• Exposure across corporate strategy, growth strategy, transformation or performance improvement
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development and client development activity

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a similar analytical discipline
• MBA or postgraduate qualification from a leading institution preferred
