We are recruiting for an Electrical Site Supervisor focussed on Substations for a leading organisation within the transmission and distribution sector based in Perth.
This role will play a critical part in the on-site delivery of high-voltage substation projects across Western Australia, supporting the safe and efficient construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
You will be responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating contractors, and ensuring all works are delivered in line with project, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
This role will play a critical part in the on-site delivery of high-voltage substation projects across Western Australia, supporting the safe and efficient construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
You will be responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating contractors, and ensuring all works are delivered in line with project, safety, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities across substation construction and upgrade projects
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project schedules and technical specifications
- Oversee installation of HV equipment including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, procedures, and legislation
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Work closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers to ensure project milestones are met
- Identify and escalate site risks, issues, and delays
- Support commissioning and energisation activities
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within electrical substation or HV infrastructure projects
- Strong background in transmission and/or distribution projects
- Hands-on experience supervising installation of high-voltage equipment
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
- Solid knowledge of safety management systems within construction environments
- WA Electrical Licence
