We are seeking a Project Controller based in Perth for our client. The company is a leading organisation in the Transmission & Distribution sector, delivering major substation, transmission line, and renewable energy projects.
They require an experienced Project Controller to support project performance tracking, reporting, and financial management across their portfolio.

- Develop and maintain project controls systems, ensuring accurate progress tracking and reporting.
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor project performance and cost efficiency.
- Conduct progress measurement and performance analysis to provide accurate project updates.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to track deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
- Utilise Primavera P6 / MS Project to assist with project scheduling and tracking.
- Develop and manage reports using Power BI to enhance project insights and data visualisation.
- Maintain and analyse financial data using Excel for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Word.
- Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Strong background in project controls, particularly in Earned Value Management, progress measurement, and report preparation.
- Experience working on large projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for scheduling and project planning.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation (highly desirable).
- Advanced skills in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and Word for documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- Technical background in engineering or construction is beneficial but not essential.
- Degree or diploma in Project Controls, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
